• The parade of the camels begins from the Junagarh Fort and proceeds to the Polo Ground of Bikaner.
• The camels are decorated with all kinds of camel jewelry of traditional Rajasthani style. Ornaments and accessories of camels include anklets, camel shoes, the neck jewelry and much more.
• The camels are made to dance and perform as per the instructions of the trainer. Care is taken not to overwork or torture the animals for the entertainment.
• Various competitions related to camels are held, whereby the owner of camels with the finest hair, the best milk, training and grooming are rewarded. Also camel races are held, a tradition, which is very old.
• Camel milk is used for making delicacies.
